So finally, we've got some good news that's actually worth reporting! Connie and I went to see the girls this AM and we're actually making progress. Finally. Both girls had good news for me! Lilley, is keeping her body temperature up and is really doing a wondeful all around job, SOOOO she gets to move out of her isolette and into a big girl bed!! It's an open air crib, where she has to continually maintain her own body temperature without the help of a machine. She's also nippling a few feeds each day and the amount that she's able to take is increasing steadily. All good :) Noelle is still in her isolette, but the good news for her is that in 12 hours they only reported 1 episode of vomiting. Yesterday she was started on Reglan and we're really praying that this might be the key... We also were talking with our Nurse today, who was really good in reassuring us that EVERYTHING that the girls are doing currently, is very typical of a 34 week premature infant. What we experienced with the Boys, was not the norm. That experience was very good, but not very normal... So the girls are good, we're really pleased with this news today.
