In case you thought I wasn't busy enough? Today I thought it would be a great idea to become a Foster Mom.
Yep. You heard me right. A Foster Mom.
To a Cat. I love cat's... I would go so far as to say that I have a major soft spot for cat's. I hear a sob story, and instantly my heart and my door opens up. It's pathetic really.
In any regard, I'll be keeping an eye on this absolutely stunning kitty for next couple of weeks. Or at least until she gives birth... Oh, what? I didn't mention that? Right, yes... She's pregnant.
I'm going to be a grandmother. I'll be sure to take a picture of her sweet little face and share it with you all as soon as she comes out from underneath of the bed. Until then...send towels and boiling water.
**Edited to add** The Momma has emerged and is happy to be here, she is adapting VERY well and has eaten A LOT! She is a little lonely I think, and just wants me to lay with her in her room... It makes me a little sad to leave her! Poor little girl! Isn't she the sweetest!?!

She IS the sweetest. I LOVE tabby cats. We once had two and I adored them.
I can't wait to see pictures of your new grandkiddies. I mean, grandkiTTies. :)

Congratulations on your new arrival! We also do foster care for kittens through the TriValley Animal Rescue organization (TVAR). Right now we have 3 kittens that are 10 weeks old, 2 already spoken for, and 1 brown tabby who will no doubt find a home quickly. We have one 6-month old, who had terrible gingivitis, and had to have several teeth pulled - fortunately the organization handles all vet bills. He is healing nicely and will be ready for adoption in another week or so. And Sunday we picked up a momma and 3-3wk old kittens from our local shelter. Last year we raised and placed 56 kittens and 4 mommas!
So have fun with the little ones and good luck in finding wonderful homes for them.
