I am an Autistic Support teacher and I am just curious why you can not go through a SETT process and have your school district or medical assistance pay for a communication device. We usually trial something and then apply for MA to cover it. In my 12 year career when the process was followed MA never denied it. The district was always easy to go through and an iPad plus apps compared to the typical 5 to 8,000 it costs for most communication devices makes it desirable. There seems to be a trend now though with some parents and the iPad. It is not for every kid, and sometimes the traditional devices work better. Good luck!
The Redden Kids' College Fund! We've got to send our kids to college somehow, this is the wonderful link that gives you all the info you need to help us out!!
So many of you so kindly ask Jon and I what the kiddos are needing these days! Truth be told, if you're not planning on wrapping up diapers, we don't need much! However, we are always putting money from Birthdays & Holidays into their College Savings accounts. Please click on the VEST button above & you'll find all of the information necessary to contribute...Thank You!
